....purpose built for groups ....exclusive distinctly different place to be in Cumbria
.... catered accommodation for groups up to 24 ....a warm, friendly, nurturing environment
Open all year, Haybergill Centre is an eco-friendly venue with level, full disabled access throughout. Owned by Mick & Maggie, who have a long term commitment to running a sustainable, ethical, family business, our venue provides a warm, safe and supportive space. All are welcome to share this distinctly different experience and use the time to relax, learn and have fun whilst confident in the knowledge that all practicalities are reliably and unobtrusively taken care of by our small team of hosts. We specialise in working with groups on training courses, conferences, retreats and workshops. We also welcome groups seeking catered accommodation for other recreational purposes.
Our unique design gives full disabled access throughout. Every group has exclusive use of our large, inspiring Hi-Spec Scandinavian style eco lodge. This private, hidden resource has a wide variety of uses for groups seeking a venue for training courses, retreats, workshops, seminars, meetings and small conferences. The size and acoustics of the main room are ideal for music and singing workshops. Our venue also is a superb modern alternative to the traditional country house hotel for groups of family and friends meeting up for special occasions, house parties, holidays, short breaks and weekends.
Haybergill Centre is located in the North of England, hidden in the picturesque Upper Eden Valley, near the market towns of Appleby & Kirkby Stephen. Sitting in the Pennines we are remote from the busy world whilst being close to the A66 giving us quick access to both the M6 at Penrith or Tebay and the A1(M) at Scotch Corner. We are centrally located for the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, Teesdale and the Howgills - each within 30 minutes drive. Our location makes us an ideal venue for groups on walking, cycling, golfing (Appleby Golf Course) and other outdoor recreational holidays.
