Weekend of yoga and mindfulness
Friday 20 – Sunday 22 Oct 2017 with Pip Bellis

On this weekend we will explore how mindfulness and yoga can sustain us and help us to live a richer, more meaningful life.
The weekend will include periods of silence, discussion and practices of yoga and meditation. We will start each day with some mindful movement, yoga and a short sitting practice. After breakfast on both days we will continue to explore mindfulness and how it might have an impact on our everyday lives. We will practice some mindfulness meditation as well as connecting with the body through movement. The afternoon will be a free period to explore the countryside or simply to rest and relax. There will be an optional sitting meditation before the evening meal and a restful evening practice and discussion.
The weekend is open to all – whether or not you have any previous experience of mindfulness. Here is what some of the previous participants said:
"It was good to have time to reflect. I gained confidence in being "in the moment". I have always found mindfulness  difficult but this weekend I have become more familiar with it and it banished some myths....maybe I can practise it now! It was such a well-balanced course. And the staff were lovely - so welcoming and friendly - very homely - especially the dogs! I also enjoyed the walks - it couldn't have been better."
"I learnt that mindfulness isn't the mystery I thought it was - it's simply a route to inner peace. It has encouraged me to make yoga and meditation/mindfulness more a part of my day to day life. The food was absolutely magnificent - I've bought the recipe book. And the venue was lovely and tranquil."
"It was wonderful to work in a group in such stillness and to practise meditation with others. I learnt so much from the breathwork with the exercises and it was good to work so slowly and mindfully. The course was beautifully and sensitively led. And the venue was perfectly suited for the purpose, beautiful and peaceful - loved it."
Price - £250 with a non-refundable deposit of £100 due by July 21
The price includes all meals, yoga and mindfulness sessions. Accommodation is mainly en-suite, shared accommodation in double or triple rooms. A £20 per night supplement applies for single occupancy.
